Ahmed Kassar

Ahmed Kassar is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, where he specialized in Theatre Criticism and Studies. He is a writer, author, and script consultant with more than 20 years of experience in screenwriting, script development, and the design of training curricula in dramatic writing.

He specializes in transforming historical research and real-life material into compelling cinematic and television narratives. Throughout his career, he has designed and delivered specialized workshops in dramatic writing, research-based storytelling, and digital content development.

Kassar has collaborated with leading production platforms across the Arab world and has contributed to the writing and development of successful television series, including Al Arrab: Under the Belt, Al Hayba: The Response, Half a Day, and Coma. He has also developed innovative training programs that integrate historical research with contemporary storytelling techniques.
