The Kader project is concerned with developing research-based screenwriting in the social sciences and humanities, through an authentic training curriculum, specialized workshops in dramatic writing, and in-person and virtual events that bring together researchers, writers, directors, producers, and professionals in the entertainment industry.

Kader complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and data is collected and processed only to the extent necessary to operate the platform and manage its programs, while ensuring transparency and fairness in the user experience.

In most cases, data you provide directly when registering or applying is collected, including full name, email address, phone number, country, age, and CV. Written samples, links to previous work, or additional information may also be requested through custom questions to understand professional background, interests, and motivations for applying.

For some programs, we may request attached files such as texts, screenplay files, presentations, or visual materials. These materials form part of the application file and may by their nature include personal or creative information belonging to the applicant; they are stored in a secure environment for the duration of retention.

Newsletters are entirely optional, and you can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time via the dedicated link found within the messages.

Kader does not sell or rent personal data under any circumstances. Some data may be shared internally with the team responsible for managing programs, only to the extent necessary to evaluate applications and organize educational or training operations.

In specific cases, applicants may be nominated for external opportunities in cooperation with partner organizations; this is done only after obtaining explicit and direct consent from the person concerned.

Kader may choose to display some works or information about participants on a public alumni page, in order to highlight contributions and celebrate them. However, this is never done automatically.

Any appearance on this page — whether a name, photo, description, or program details — is conditional on obtaining explicit and clear consent from the person concerned.

We retain data for as long as there is an operational or regulatory need for it, such as managing programs or referring to participant records. Some data may also be retained for internal archiving purposes.

In return, we acknowledge your right to request deletion of your data at any time. When a deletion request is submitted, it is handled seriously, retaining only what operational or regulatory necessity requires and to the minimum extent in accordance with applicable requirements.
