Amal has experience in managing cultural and media projects and in developing intellectual, artistic, and knowledge-based programs across the Arab region. She served as Head of the Cultural and Arts Department at “Manshoor”, and managed the training phase for participants in the “Iqra” competition, one of the most prominent reading initiatives in the Arab world, launched by Saudi Aramco.
Her experience includes managing and coordinating a variety of cultural events and conferences, including the Arab Poetry Festival in Oman, participation in the International Storytelling Lab program at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and managing specialized sessions within the Gulf Narrative Conference, in addition to delivering workshops in reading and writing at book fairs in Riyadh and Jeddah.
In the field of cultural and artistic content production, she has developed and presented specialized programs in criticism and artistic reviews, including the program “Cinematic Impressions”, which explored various films and cinematic schools. She also writes regularly for the cultural supplement of Oman Daily Newspaper, and has published dozens of critical articles and studies on cinema, drama, visual arts, and their cultural industries.
